Is ShotScreen Cloud in the App Store version?
Not yet — it is coming to the Mac App Store soon. Today ShotScreen Cloud is part of the Gumroad (direct-sales) build. The App Store version already has every capture and editing tool, and Cloud upload is on the way. Want link sharing right now? Get ShotScreen on Gumroad today.
Can I cancel Cloud Plus anytime?
Yes. Cloud Plus is a monthly plan with no commitment — cancel whenever you like. When you downgrade, ShotScreen gives you a grace period: files above the Included quota are not deleted immediately, they stay downloadable until the grace deadline so you can save anything you still need.
Can I use one Cloud Plus membership with several licenses?
No. One Cloud Plus membership is linked to one ShotScreen Pro license. To move it to another license, remove the membership key from the old license first (in Settings); it is then free to activate on the new one.
Do my links break the moment I cancel?
No, not immediately. After you downgrade, existing shares above the Included tier stay available to download during the grace period rather than disappearing on day one. Once the grace deadline passes, storage returns to the Included limits. Links you delete yourself always stop working right away.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Cloud Plus. You get a you.shotscreen.cloud subdomain out of the box, and you can point your own domain at ShotScreen Cloud with a CNAME plus a TXT verification record. Use a subdomain such as share.yourdomain.com — pointing an apex (root) domain at the cloud would hand your whole website over to it.
How do password-protected links work?
On Cloud Plus you can set a password on any share. The file itself lives on a separate usercontent domain behind short-lived signed URLs, and visitors have to enter the password on the share page before ShotScreen hands out a link to the file. Share the password over a different channel than the link.
What counts against my storage?
Every file that is currently online — screenshots, recordings and GIFs — counts toward your quota while its link is live. When a share expires or you delete it, that space frees up again. The Included tier keeps up to 10 files online within 35 MB total; Cloud Plus raises this to 5 GB with unlimited files.
