Delete your account and data

ShotScreen keeps as little as possible, and you can remove all of it yourself at any time. This page explains exactly how.

The app itself has no account

Taking screenshots, recording, editing and on-device AI never create an account and never leave your Mac. There is nothing to delete for those features — removing the app removes everything.

ShotScreen Cloud account

If you use ShotScreen Cloud to upload and share, you have a Cloud account and files on our server. To delete the account and permanently remove everything you have uploaded — including anything you have shared — do this in the app:

1.Open ShotScreen and go to Settings → Cloud Upload.

2.Click "Delete all my data".

3.Confirm. Your account, all uploads and all share links are deleted from the server. This cannot be undone.

You can also delete individual shares at any time from the same screen, or from the web gallery at my.shotscreen.cloud.
